New Recruitment Out With The Old, In With The New

New Recruitment Out With The Old, In With The New As a recruiter,  its important to keep up to date with the ever-growing digital world. This is particularly important if you are recruiting for  Digital/Tech jobs. Times have changed and although the candidate needs to present themselves well to the recruiter, it works both ways. Digital marketing  has become a key ingredient in recruitment and we have some  useful tips to help you attract  high-quality candidates Social Media First up, as a recruiter you should be active on all relevant social media platforms   Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn and Instagram. If you arent, do it now!  When candidates find a job that they like the look of, its more than likely that they Google the brand.  Just like the candidate, you need to ensure that your online presence is up to date, clean and respectable. No one wants to work for a brand who havent updated their Twitter in 3 years. If youre non-existent on Google, then do you really exist?   Make sure you are posting relevant, insightful content and following your target audience. Keeping your newsfeed focused is important, it means that what you are tweeting/posting is reaching a relevant audience and you are constantly being inspired Less Is More You may receive  millions of applications from using free job boards, but whats important is that you are attracting high quality relevant individuals.  To achieve this, it sometimes means dropping the free sites and turning to niche job boards or platforms. Although it will cost you more and you may receive fewer applicants the results will be extremely satisfactory. Allowing you to spend less time filtering through millions of random, under-qualified cvs. Whatever role you are recruiting for, there will be a platform out there, so get Googling. (You obviously know that Bubble is the go to place for Digital, thats why you are reading this right?) Get  Social As you know, you need to be constantly searching for candidates, that is your job after all. Instead of searching in the same old cv database or attending the same old employment fairs, maximise your chances of coming across that purple squirrel candidate. Social recruiting has become so popular and you may stumble across someone more than perfect for the job. Good luck in your recruiting we hope you find that purple squirrel.  As you know, we are a digital job board with a loyal digital job seeker audience.
